The Barenaked Ladies are travelling through B.C. this holiday season on Canada’s magical CPKC Holiday Train, and they’re taking in all of the sights along the journey.

Ed Robertson, lead singer of the seven-time Juno winners, posted a video on his and the Barenaked Ladies’ Instagram this week, declaring that “today was STUNNING all day.”

“From Golden to Revelstoke, it was non-stop breathtaking,” he wrote. “I spent almost the entire day on the back vestibule. Absolutely gobsmacked.”

The magical train and the Barenaked Ladies will be visiting 23 communities in B.C. this month, including Maple Ridge, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, and Port Coquitlam.

Dozens of fans shared their joy of travelling through B.C., especially near Golden and Revelstoke.

“I love that drive but from a train sounds amazing,” shared one commenter.

“Our home and native land is a thing of beauty, indeed,” added another.

Both B.C. destinations are well experienced in recieving praise for their gorgeous views.

Golden was named one of the prettiest places in Canada by Lonely Planet earlier this year.

Golden is an excellent spot for hiking, mountain biking, and ocean activities like rafting and kayaking.

Six hours from Vancouver and under five hours from Calgary, Revelstoke is a small town known for its big mountain.

Revelstoke is home to the biggest vertical drop in Canada, with loads of snow and vast ranges of untouched snow to discover.
