The ‘GPO’ in the name stands for the General Post Office, which was a Dublin landmark associated with the uprising that led to the Irish Independence.
The new spot has most of the same owners as Donnellan’s Chipper but now, the concept has been rebranded from a chipper to a bar.

GPO offers brunch until 3 pm and on live music on weekends as well. Expect hearty eats like Homemade Panko Chicken Goujons and Irish Beef Stew to name a few.
