Four members of Bollywood's Bachchan family sick with coronavirus
Three generations of India’s famous Bachchan family have tested positive for coronavirus, the stars revealed on social media this weekend.
Actor and producer Amitabh Bachchan, 77, revealed Saturday he’s been admitted to hospital with COVID-19. He asked anyone who’s seen him in recent days to also get tested.
T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..

His son, Abishek Bachchan, confirmed Sunday he also has the virus and has joined his father in hospital.
My father and I remain in hospital till the doctors decide otherwise. Everyone please remain cautious and safe. Please follow all rules!

Abishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai, who is also an actress and former Miss World pageant winner, and their daughter Aaradhya have also tested positive for the virus. They will remain at home for the time being.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers 🙏🏽

Wishes for their speedy recover quickly poured in, and the senior Bachchan posted a message of gratitude on Instagram Sunday.
The 77-year-old has starred in more than 100 films over his five-decade career, and has received several accolades from the Indian government for his achievements. Some of his most famous roles were in Black, Zanjeer, Deewaar, and Sholay. Hollywood audiences may also recognize him from his part in The Great Gatsby in 2013.
