Top Vancouver pizzeria to open new Metro Vancouver location
One of Vancouver’s most popular pizzerias is preparing to expand with a new location ā and the brand is venturing outside of the city.
AJ’s Brooklyn Pizza Joint is preparing to open a Tsawwassen location sometime in 2026, according to its Instagram bio.
AJ’s currently operates a location on East Broadway and is best known for its selection of regular round options, along with specialty pizzas such as the Brooklyn Sicilian Square, the Bensonhurst Upside Down Sicilian Square, and a picture-perfect Detroit Red Top variety.
“If you know anything about Brooklyn, it’s about respect,” wrote the pizza shop on its website.
“Respect is the single most important ingredient in our business. We respect our customers. All of them. No matter what. We respect this great community we get to serve and call home. And we respect our food. That means everything is homemade, including dough that takes 3 days to prepare. Our chefs are artists, and we don’t take shortcuts. We are a proud, loyal family dedicated to making authentic Brooklyn-style pizza. That’s what it’s all about. It’s just that simple.”

According to a job posting for the new location, AJ’s Tsawwassen will be located at 4775 Nulelum Wy. An exact opening date has yet to be announced. Be sure to check back here for more information soon.
