Adults over 30 in the Lower Mainland can book a COVID-19 vaccination this week

Health authorities in the Lower Mainland say that COVID-19 vaccination booking will open to adults over the age of 30 starting this week.
Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health announced the updated booking schedule this week on social media. Adults in both health regions between the age of 36 and 39 are eligible to book an immunization appointment as of Tuesday night.

Invitations for people between 30 and 35 are expected to begin on Wednesday after 7 pm.

People aged 30 and older may be invited to book as early as this week.

Interior Health also announced that they would be following the same invitation schedule for COVID-19 vaccinations.
Invitations to book vaccine appointment will be sent out as follows:
✔️May 10, 2021: 40-42 after 7pm
✔️May 11, 2021: 36-39 after 7pm
✔️May 12, 2021: 30-35 after 7pm

To receive a text message, people must be registered online through BC’s Get Vaccinated system. Those who have not yet registered can do so online, in-person at the nearest Service BC location, or through a provincial call centre (1-833-838-2323).
To register, residents will also need their personal health number, postal code, first and last name, date of birth, and an email address or phone number that is checked regularly and can receive emails or text messages.
