Adopt Me: The sweet little sugar cube with stubby legs (VIDEO)

Short legs, big heart, can’t lose.

Diana — or Dee for short — is described by Thank Dog I Am Out as a “sweet little sugar cube.” And lucky for us, this mixed breed pup with a huge personality, is looking for a forever home in Vancouver.

Dee, a pitbull/Basset hound mix, is part of a larger group of 40 dogs saved from high-intake shelters in California that were recently relocated to BC to find forever homes.

But despite being featured at its mass adoption event at YVR last month, and her sparkling personality, the three-year-old was not one of the pups chosen by potential adopters as a new furry family member.

So for now, she is at Canine Valley in Squamish being boarded, socializing with other pups and working with trainers on being the nicest little dog possible. Her best friend Daryl was just adopted out, so TDIAO hopes a similar lovely home can be found for her right away.

Here’s what you need to know about Dee. She is 28 pounds, and is awesome with all dogs and is fun to walk.

She’s athletic and active, so the rescue would love to see her go to a family that enjoys getting outside, whether that’s hiking, walking, trail running, or biking.

Her high energy would bode her best in a house without small children, they add.
