25-year-old woman allegedly extorted money and sexually assaulted man in Toronto

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and charged for allegedly sexually assaulting and forcibly taking money from a man in Toronto.

According to the Toronto Police Service, a man met with a woman over social media and on Friday, February 28, between 12 am and 2:30 am. They met in the Bathurst Street and College Street area.

The woman allegedly extorted money and sexually assaulted the man.

Police say Tessy Osabuyi was arrested on Friday and charged with sexual assault, extortion, forcible confinement, and assault with a weapon.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.

The Toronto police define a sexual assault as “any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex, and penetration.”
