Toronto’s annual Vaisakhi Parade took over downtown Toronto on Sunday.
Vaisakhi, also known as Khalsa Day, celebrates the Sikh new year and the establishment of the Sikh community in 1699.
The annual parade has steadily grown over the years to become one of the largest parades in Canada.
The colourful celebration began at the Canadian National Exhibition grounds before the massive parade made its way to city hall.
