Students allegedly threatened with shotgun walking to school in Toronto's west end

Toronto police are investigating after receiving reports of a man threatening students with a shotgun as they walked to school in the city’s west end Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the area of Starview Lane and Weston Road, just south of Sheppard Avenue West, at around 10:30 am.

According to police, a man pulled out a shotgun and threatened students who were on their way to school.

Later Wednesday afternoon, police confirmed that the incident didn’t happen at the school.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing and more details will be released soon.
