Raptors given 4th-best odds of winning NBA championship

The Toronto Raptors shifted the narrative during the regular season and now, they’re looking to do it again.

After losing Kawhi Leonard in the offseason, the defending NBA champions had plenty of critics doubting that they could mimic their success. And despite the uncertainty, the team exceeded expectations, finishing the regular season with a 53-19 record — the second-best in the entire league.

With the first round of the NBA playoffs starting today, they’ll once again have the chance to defend their championship. And according to the numbers, they have some pretty strong odds.

SportsBetting.ag recently set the odds for this season’s NBA Champions. The Raptors were given the fourth-highest odds (10/1) of coming out on top.

Only three teams have higher odds of taking home the title this year — the Los Angeles Lakers, the Milwaukee Bucks, and Kawhi’s Los Angeles Clippers.
