The Toronto Raptors have launched a line of Black Lives Matter inspired apparel, in support of some great causes.

Canadian artists, Mark Stoddart and Adeyemi Adegbesan, helped designed the Black Lives Matter apparel that Raptors players wore down in the NBA bubble in Orlando this past summer. Now, that apparel will be available to the general public.

The team put a spotlight on social justice issues after the death of George Floyd sparked protests worldwide.

Every Raptors player decided to sport a message across the backs of their jerseys in place of last names. These messages included things like “Black Lives Matter,” “Justice,” and “Education Reform.”

All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry said at the time that the team hopes to continue leveraging their platform and “raise awareness” to the ongoing social justice movement.

100% of proceeds from the apparel will be going to support local organizations and non-profits.

The team partnered with Canadian apparel company Peace Collective to help produce the gear. The site offers ten different items to buy, including masks, t-shirts, and hoodies.
