A victim remains in critical condition in hospital, following an overnight shooting in mid-town Toronto on Friday.
According to police, officers received multiple calls regarding sounds of gunshots in the area of Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West around midnight.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a victim suffering from injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma centre.

Police say the suspect and the direction of travel are unknown at the time.
