Real estate is a seller’s market in Toronto.

As reported earlier today, the average cost for a detached home in Toronto is now around $1.5 million.

And the demand for these homes is high. So high that a house listed for just over $1.2 million sold for $800,000 over it’s asking price. In less than a week.

The detached 4-bedroom home is in the Dufferin Grove neighbourhood, located on Concord Avenue in the city’s west end. The home, which has 2 fireplaces, a finished basement, and an oversized kitchen, sold in less than seven days for $2.1 million.

Check out the gem that is 131 Concord Avenue… and the insanity that is the Toronto housing market.
