A man is suffering serious injuries after a stabbing near near Bay Street at the Eaton Centre on Monday afternoon.
According to Toronto Police, just after 2:30 pm, there were reports of a man stabbed in the area. Police located the victim and said his injuries “are serious.”
Police are currently investigating.

Earlier this afternoon, police responded to another stabbing in the same area.
Three men were stabbed, and police described their injuries as non-life threatening.
Investigators said its unknown if the second stabbing was associated to this stabbing call.

Due to the Toronto Raptors Championship Parade taking place, there are hundreds of thousands of people in the area right now, with Nathan Phillips Square having reached capacity long ago and several TTC subway stations being forced to close because of overcrowding.
