Two teen boys have been arrested and charged following a string of robberies that happened near a Scarborough intersection on Friday evening.

On Friday, March 1, around 6:30 pm, police received calls for four separate robberies in and around the area of Brimley Road and Progress Avenue, according to police.

Police say the victims were approached by two unknown male suspects on foot, and each encounter quickly turned violent as the male suspects either physically assaulted the victims or threatened them with a knife, while making demands for their property.

Once the suspects obtained the property, they would flee the area on foot and move on to the next victim.

Officers searched the area and, with the assistance of the public, were able to locate and arrest both suspects who were still in possession of the property they had stolen.
