Summerhill, get ready to indulge.

Because Sash Restaurant and Wine Bar, the newest endeavour by Toronto Chef Sash Simpson (formerly of North 44), has finally opened its doors in the neighbourhood.

Located at 1133 Yonge Street, the new spot is serving up a mouthwatering menu and an extensive range of cocktails, making for the perfect lunch location or dinner destination.

Currently soft-open, both lunch and dinner service are up and running. The menu boasts fresh finds like “Tuna Three Ways,” ideal for when you’re seeking springtime on a plate.

Other of-the-sea options include the eatery’s take on a classic fish n’ chips dish. This one features a lot less grease, as a juicy (not-deep-fried) filet lays over spring spinach and caper remoulade.

And if you’d prefer to dive into a more indulgent plate, pasta is always a good idea.

Tagliatelle is served with morels, sugar snap peas, chanterelle, pine nuts and black truffle, creating a decadent, veg-heavy delight.

To pair with your meal, perfectly balanced cocktails are aplenty.

Ranging from the Black Oleander (gin, averna amaro, amontillado sherry) to Mexican Love (tequila, raspberry, thyme, lime, and soda) to The Dead Poet (rum, lime, and spiced syrup), any and all tastes are sure to be satisfied.

The wait is over, so don’t hesitate.

It’s time to add the badge of this restaurant to your foodie sash.
