Want to devour Toronto’s top dishes from the comfort of your own home? Toronto’s Summerhill Market has launched a year-long pop-up series that will see signature offerings from Toronto’s best restaurants available in store for grab-and-go.

Already established as a top source for prepared foods in Toronto, Summerhill carries a wide range of scratch-made, ready to eat foods that are a saviour for those with hectic schedules and/or little know-how in the kitchen.

Now the gourmet grocery store has partnered up with Toronto’s most popular restaurants and will be retailing a rotating selection of dishes straight off restaurant menus.

Since launching earlier this month, the fine foods store has introduced a line-up of summery salads and bowls from Chef Cory Vitiello of FLOCK Rotisserie + Greens.

Next up, starting July 2 and on until the end of the month, look forward to Texas-style barbecue from Smoke Signals Bar-B-Q – everything from smoked brisket and ribs to mac and cheese and various pickles.

Toronto restaurant writer and food editor Stephanie Dickison is curating the monthly pop-ups and has already lined-up dishes from Patois, Ruby Watchco, and Contra Café for future appearances.

“The chefs have been busy at work to create sumptuous dishes you and your friends will be drooling over. We’re talking the BEST barbecue, ooey-gooey mac and cheese, silky butter chicken, secret recipes, and so much more,” reads a news release.
