Leslieville's Sandy Aleksander is closing this weekend

After more than five years in business, Leslieville’s ‘Sandy Aleksander Fine Food’ is closing its doors for good this weekend.

This Saturday, June 30 is the final day for the purveyor of fine cheeses and charcuterie, prepared foods, and CXBO chocolates.

“We gave it a good shot, we loved our customers, meeting all the wonderful Leslievillians out there and we are not sad to be regaining our lives (and sanity),” writes the business in a post to Facebook.

Between now and Saturday, in an effort to clear the shelves, the fine food store is offering 50% off the entire store (with the exception of beverages and prepared foods) when you pay with cash, or 25% if you’re only carrying plastic.

It’s the last chance to say goodbye while also stocking up on Brennan’s Irish products and Death in Venice gelato before its too late.
