The Toronto Police have issued a public safety alert after reports of a man attempting to lure young girls into a car on two separate occasions this month.

Both incidents occurred on weekdays around 2 pm, in the area of Forest Manor Road and Parkway Forest Drive.

According to law enforcement, on Thursday, April 11, a 10-year-old girl was walking in the area when a man drove up to her and attempted to lure her into his vehicle.

The young girl was with an adult, who was walking behind her. The man then fled the area, police say.

The second incident occurred on Monday, April 22, when two 10-year-old girls were playing in a park when a man approached the girls and tried to get them to come with him.

The two girls ran away and informed an adult, which prompted the man to flee the area.
