A man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after a woman allegedly stabbed his genitals at a residential building in Toronto over the weekend, according to a report from Global News.
According to the report, the suspect then jumped off of a balcony from the seventh floor of the building.
Police say they received reports of a stabbing around 9:10 am on Sunday, April 21, at a residential building in the area of Victoria Park Avenue and Parma Court.
According to police, a man and woman were arguing, and the woman produced a knife and stabbed the man multiple times.
The man was able to escape and get help, police say, and when officers arrived at the scene, they located the man with serious stab wounds. Paramedics then rushed him to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Police said a second person was also found with injuries but said their injuries were non-life-threatening.
According to the report, a witness said the second injured person was the woman who was allegedly involved in the attack and proceeded to jump from the seventh storey of the building.
Following the incident, 42-year-old Diedre Martin has been arrested.
She has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous to the public peace.
