Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle responsible for a fatal hit-and-run in Pickering on Friday evening.
According to Durham Regional Police, a man in his 20s was located after midnight in the area of Altona Road and Taunton Road in Pickering. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, Taunton Road closed between Markham Pickering Townline to Rosebank and Altona between Pickering Concession Road 3 and 4.

The investigation is still ongoing as police continue to search for the vehicle that fled a fatal scene.
On Saturday morning, police said the affected roads had reopened.
