Filipino fast-food chain, Jollibee, has opened its newest location in Mississauga, keeping its promise of an “aggressive expansion” in North America.

For Jollibee fans in the GTA, Mississauga’s Square One, 100 City Centre Drive, officially opened on January 23 for take-out, pick up or DoorDash delivery.

As part of its expansion, the brand plans to add nine new locations in Canada in 2021, marking the newest Mississauga location as the seventh in Ontario, according to the brand.

“During these times, we are humbled by the role our food plays in bringing a spark of joy to those who visit us,” said Maribeth Dela Cruz, President of Jollibee Group North America, Philippine Brands.

“We know Canadians love their chicken so we have set very aggressive expansion goals to bring our unique take on fried chicken to every corner of the country. Our hope is to continue spreading joy by increasing easy and safe access to our great tasting food, headlined by our beloved Jolly Crispy Chicken and other Jolly favorites.”

In the past few months, Jollibee has opened more locations across Toronto and the GTA, including its downtown restaurant at 334 Yonge Street.

Back in October, Jollibee opened two more restaurant locations in both Scarborough and Brampton.

The newest location will be opened from 11 am to 7 pm every day, making it easier to get your hands on some Peach Mango Pies because one isn’t enough.
