Popular Filipino fast-food chain, Jollibee, is officially set to open its Downtown Toronto location before the end of the month.

As part of its journey into North America, it’s 2020 expansion includes opening a new Jollibee restaurant at 334 Yonge Street.

“We have remained nimble and optimistic, which has led Jollibee to defy expectations amidst an extremely difficult year and experience double-digit sales growth across North America,” said Maribeth Dela Cruz, President of Jollibee Group North America, Philippine Brands.

“This month, we will be opening long-awaited stores across TexasCalifornia, and Ontario, Canada. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support we’ve received from across these regions and are thrilled to deliver a small spark of joy as we enter the holiday season.”

Back in October, Jollibee opened two more restaurant locations in both Scarborough and Brampton.

The downtown location would be its seventh location in Ontario.

As for 2021, the fast-food chain will add nine more restaurants in Canada.
