Toronto’s Hotel X is transforming their rooftop patio and restaurant into the ultimate summer spot to dine and wine.

Summer House spreads across 75,000 square feet with five zones where guests will be able to eat, chat and “play” throughout the summer.

“We wanted to create a desirable escape within the city we love, as it comes back to life,” said Matthew “Matty” Tsoumaris, founder of Honeycomb Hospitality.

“We have taken over Hotel X’s iconic three-level rooftop bar, restaurant and lounge to create a staycation summer hub.”

When it comes to food, the menus have been revamped at Prime Grill and The Peak, by food owner and Executive Chef of Food Dudes, Adrian Niman.

“We’ve developed dishes that reflect summer dining habits and cravings,” Niman said.

“Guests will enjoy a variety of steaks, seafood bites and vegan dishes and we’re excited to introduce adult ice cream, which reconceives dessert, marrying your favourite cocktail flavours into a cool, refreshing summer treat.”

There will be a bunch of culinary treats like Afternoon Delight, which mixes an afternoon tea experience with sliders and margaritas.

Sunday’s will have a Sunset Series with a DJ playing the tunes all night on long weekends.
