Baskin Robbins giving away FREE ice cream pizza in the GTA next weekend

Do the bells of the ice cream truck signify the official start of summer for you? We’ve got good news for Torontonians going into the long weekend.

Baskin Robbins is hitting the streets over the May 2-4 in its first-ever food truck, but unlike traditional curbside creameries, there will be no need to dig around for change in your pockets to score an ice cream treat.

This ice cream truck will be giving away slices of FREE Polar Pizza.

In a city where epic ice cream sandwiches and mutant milkshakes are the norm, a frozen dessert in pie form seems only natural.

The creation is described on the company website as a “novel and flavourful treat, in the shape of a 9-inch pizza,” built on a chocolate chip cookie or double fudge brownie crust and topped with various combinations of ice cream and dessert toppings.

While the promotion kicks off on National Pizza Party Day (May 19) in the downtown core, the truck will be touring the GTA all weekend to blanket the city with sweet frozen freebies.
