Premier Doug Ford will make an announcement on Wednesday afternoon on the latest COVID-19 response as cases continue to remain high.
Ford will be joined by Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, and Michael Tibollo, Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions.
On Tuesday, the premier said that Ontario is “flattening the curve” but the province has had nine straight days of reporting cases above 500.
Tuesday saw 548 cases, which were lower than Monday’s 615, Sunday’s 556, Saturday’s 653, and Friday’s record for the largest single day increase with 732 new cases.
The daily update will be at 1 pm from Queen’s Park.
