
Peel Regional Police are reporting that an explosion in a Brampton residence in the area of Humberwest Parkway and Cottrelle Boulevard, has injured three people.
Law enforcement says they are now evacuating nearby residences.
Reports say the explosion happened just before 1:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Among the three people injured, two sustained minor injuries, and a five-year-old child was sent to hospital with serious injuries.
While the scene is now under control, police say, the explosion led to structural damage, the extent of which has not yet been determined.
At this time, Peel police have not yet determined the cause of the explosion.
