Toronto is already ice cream obsessed and now there’s a brand new craze coming to Toronto. iHalo Krunch opens its doors this Saturday, June 17 at 1 pm and is the first Toronto location serving activated charcoal ice cream.
Located across from Trinity Bellwoods Park at 915 Queen Street West, the ice cream parlour will serve up a varierty of ice cream, dairy-free sorbet, premium gelato, andsoft serve flavours served in house-made charcoal waffle cones made from coconut husks.
Signature flavours include: Black on Black featuring coconut charcoal soft serve, Ube Haze, purple soft-serve made with dioscorea alata, AKA ube or purple yam, Meet Your Matcha, a green tea-infused soft serve, Bean There, Done That, a vanilla bean soft serve, and Matchabean, a twist of vanilla bean and green tea matcha together.
