Blue Jays fans have a lot to look forward to this season.
From $5 beer to $2 chips and $1 hot dogs, eats are about to become a lot more affordable.
And now, fans can also look forward to feasting on legendary bites from Toronto-institution Caplansky’s Deli.
- You can get hot dogs for $1 at this upcoming Blue Jays game
- Everything you need to know about the $5 food and booze deals at Blue Jays games
- You can bring almost any outside food you want into Blue Jays games
The beloved deli shared a teaser on Facebook referencing a “surprise” in store for Jays fans, and confirmed to Daily Hive that their sandwiches will be available at games this year.
“It won’t be opening day but when the Jays start their pennant run, Caplansky’s will be there spreading the mustard,” a spokesperson told Daily Hive.

So between sips of affordable booze, you’ll be able to take a bite out of a beastly sandwich. And why not wash it all down with a hot dog that only cost you a loonie?
Because, guess what? You can.
This season just keeps getting better.
