Buca is about to double in size!

Toronto’s favourite mini-empire of Italian restaurants helmed by Chef Rob Gentile announced in a press release today that in addition to the previously announced Vaughan opening, there are also locations going in at Yonge and Eglinton and Yonge and St. Clair as early as this upcoming spring.

Yonge & Eglinton, opening Spring 2018

Like an “expanded Bar Buca concept,” this all-day Italian bar and cafe will serve up coffee and pastries by day as well as cocktails and small seasonal plates in the evening. New to this location, expect a new pizza menu, take-away service, and line-up of house made gelato.

Going in on the north-west corner, this restaurant will be tailored to the neighbourhood. Expect warm hospitality and a food and beverage that balances old world and new.

“This is going to be a marquee destination for the community, and another compelling reason for Torontonians from outside the area to come and see the changes taking place at Yonge + St. Clair,” says Lucas Manuel, Partner at Slate Asset Management, the firm responsible for renovations at Buca’s future home at 2 St. Clair West.

The new restaurants join the family of King Street Food Company restaurants that already includes Bar BucaBuca Osteria and Enoteca, and Buca Enoteca and Bar , as well as Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse, Jamie’s Italian, and La Banane.

2018 is shaping up to be a great year for Toronto food lovers – so feel free to get excited.
