The Big Carrot health food grocer launching delivery across Toronto

While grocery-delivery services in Toronto are aplenty, most stem from big box stores.

For those with an affinity for the local, organic, and non-gmo foods in life, The Big Carrot is about to start offering delivery across the city.

Launching on Tuesday, May 12, the health food grocer will be adding onto its current curbside pickup program with a delivery option, which will operate across Toronto.

To partake, all you need to do is navigate to the website’s curbside pickup page and select “delivery” on the online form. The minimum order amount is set to $100 before taxes, and a flat-rate delivery fee of $10 will apply.

Orders will be dropped off between 4 pm and 5 pm the day after orders are placed.

For those who are still comfortable visiting grocers in person, The Big Carrot is offering priority access to their store to frontline workers, including nurses, doctors, paramedics, police, and firefighters.

If any of these titles apply to you, make sure you have your ID when visiting the store and you’ll be able to skip the line.
