16-year-old girl kidnapped from bus stop and sexually assaulted

Toronto Police are looking to identify a man as part of an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

According to police, on Friday, March 15, at approximately 2 am, a 16-year-old girl was in the area of Runnymede Road and Dundas Street West.

Police say she was waiting for a bus when she was approached by a man in a vehicle. She was then taken to the area of Keele and Eglinton Avenue West, where police say she was sexually assaulted by the man.

She was then released in the area of Spadina Road and Dupont Street, at approximately 8 am.

The man is described as brown, with a medium complexion, 35-40 years-of-age, approximately 6’0″, with an average build. He was wearing dark clothing.

According to Toronto Police, a sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
