Despite all the gloom in the last few months, Toronto’s restaurant industry has proven to be resilient as more restaurants are set to open before the year ends.

A bakery dedicated to a huge variety of croissants is opening its first location in North America, and it will be calling Toronto home.
On November 11, Hazukido will have its grand opening in The Atrium, Unit E-01, 595 Bay Street, where guests will be able to indulge in 14 different flavoured croissants made fresh daily.

PAI Toronto is expanding this fall and will be bringing Chef Nuitâs Thai cuisine to the Yonge and Eglinton area by the end of this year. The new restaurant will be located at 2335 Yonge Street in a two-storey building, which will house two private dining rooms and multiple dining âcovesâ that can seat groups of four to 30.

Kettlemanâs Bagel Co.

The time has finally come: Kettlemanâs is getting ready to open its 24/7, Montreal-style bagel shop in Toronto next week. Ottawaâs popular bagel shop announced last year that they would be opening a new location in Etobicokeâs Alderwood Plaza. In a recently shared Instagram post, the Kettleman team announced they hope to open the new location on November 10.

A new Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant is opening in Toronto by the end of the year, offering a bold menu full of flavour, with a bit of a kick to shake things up. Gusto 54 Restaurant Group, the name behind Toronto favourites like Trattoria Nervosa, Gusto 101, and PAI Northern Thai Kitchen, is bringing Azhar Kitchen & Bar to 96 Ossington Avenue. An opening date has not been announced yet; however, the group plans to open the restaurant later this year.

Minami Toronto will be calling King Street home as it opens its first Toronto location â its third across the country. Well known and popular in Vancouver, on November 17, the new restaurant will be opening its doors right at 4 pm.
