Drum roll please! A well known Toronto chef, Matty Matheson, has embarked on a new venture and will be opening a burger joint in the city.

Matty’s Patty’s will soon call the Trinity Bellwoods Park area home, where they’re currently getting things rolling at the new restaurant.

Although no opening date has been announced, Matty’s Patty’s has definitely shared a couple of pictures of what’s to come, on their Instagram.

The buns almost glisten under the spotlight as the burger tower drips perfectly melted cheesy goodness.

The restaurant had also handed out free burgers on October 14 to lucky passersby’s who happen to stumble across the pile of cheesy goodness.

According to Matheson, Matty’s Patty’s was once a pop-up that started during RVCaloha in Hawaii, but now it’s Toronto’s turn.

“We’ve done pop ups now on the North Shore, Shibuya, and Toronto! The first location will open soon in the city that gave me everything, Toronto! Opening world wide when we can work safely together,” said Matheson in a post.

Back in June, Matheson had been serving up “Matty Matheson’s Meat + Three”, a hearty feast pop-up in Fort Erie. They even had Father’s Day deals and you can rest assured it was worth it.

Keep your eyes peeled for when the new spot opens because you definitely don’t want to miss out.
