Experience the colorful fields of Tulip Town from home

Just because the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival was canceled last month doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to see the tulips this year.

Tulip Town, one of the boldest and brightest tulip fields in Skagit Valley has created an app that allows people to enjoy a 360-degree tour of the flowers from home.

“While there may be no substitute for standing in the swaying breeze as six million tulips wave at you, flying over, through, and around our fields and gardens with a 360-degree view is pretty hard to do unless you can fly,” said a statement on the Tulip Town website.

“This year we’re all “Tulip Town Superheroes” with the touch of a button on our virtual reality enhanced app and digital media library.”

The free mobile app is currently available on iOS and Android and offers views of the gardens, tulip field, and barn, as well as offering updates that allow visitors to experience every phase of the tulip farm from seasonal planting to blooms and harvest.
