The Fourth of July fireworks at Gas Works, the Milk Carton Derby in Green Lake, the Torchlight Run at Seattle Center, and Seafair Weekend Festival have all been pushed to 2021.

The non-profit has been creating events throughout the Northwest since 1950 and will be contacting this year’s ticket holders by email “in the coming days.”

“Given the uncertainty surrounding public health safety, and combined with guidance from local and state governments, Seafair is rescheduling its major events to next year,” said a statement on the Seafair website.

ā€œWe are deeply disappointed but together we will get through this emergency,ā€ said Eric Corning, president and CEO of Seafair, in a news release. ā€œEvents will be an important part of our recovery, and we look forward to working with our sponsorship partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to produce a festival with the BlueAngels, fireworks, pirates, clowns, parades, and all of the neighborhood community events.ā€

Seafair is currently in the process of rescheduling its major events and has already confirmed that the US Navy Blue Angels will return for August 6 to 8, 2021.
