Stevens Pass Epic Pass holders concerned about this season’s cancellation due to COVID-19 will be able to receive partial credit for next year.

Vail Resorts, which owns multiple ski resorts around the world, including Stevens Pass, announced today that the company has been “developing a comprehensive plan to address our pass holders’ concerns about the early closure this past season and provide improved coverage for the future.”

Stevens Pass’s website goes into further detail about the credit system. Pass holders will be offered 20-80% off their purchase of next season’s pass. The credit will depend on the price of their current pass and how frequently they used it.

Those with the Epic Day Pass, Edge Card, and multi-pass will be offered credits for each unused day with a maximum 80% credit.

The credit will be valid through Labour Day (September 7, 2020).

Looking forward to next season, Vail Resorts says it is rolling out the free “Epic Coverage” plan, which will provide “refunds in the unlikely event of certain resort closures (i.e., for COVID-19), giving pass holders a refund for any portion of the season that is lost.”

Epic Coverage

The plan will replace the need to purchase pass insurance.

Epic Coverage will also provide a refund for eligible injuries, job loss, other personal events, and certain report closures including instances like COVID-19.

Stevens Pass says it will be emailing pass holders personally on May 15 to go over specific credit details and promotion codes.
