6 new runs are now open on Stevens Pass

Although the roads are a bit of a mess right now, if you’ve got the correct winter tires, skills to drive in the rough weather, and a load of patience, it may be worth heading up to Stevens Pass today.

While the west side of Steven’s Pass is remaining closed, according to the hill’s Twitter account, those looking to hit up new runs will still be able to check out Double Diamond, Southern Cross, Kehr’s, Hogsback, Tye Mill, and Daisy — all of which opened for the first time this morning.

Stevens Pass is scheduled to be open from 9 am to 10 pm today, although they may close early due to poor weather conditions on either the hill or on the highways.

If you didn’t get an Epic Pass this year but are dying to hit the slopes, don’t fret. A season’s pass to Stevens Pass is still available online, as well as day tickets.

Getting DEEP @ Stevens in January

Get ready for pow town; tomorrow we plan on opening Double Diamond and Southern Cross in addition to Kehr’s, Hogsback, Tye Mill and Daisy, conditions permitting. Fingers crossed the west side will be clear to drive tomorrow, and huge thanks to WSDOT for putting in the hard work to keep us all safe. #stevenspassion Riders: Alex Bosco, Kim Ewing, Justin Norman
