What to eat in and around Seattle today: Flint Creek Cattle Co.

Jun 4 2021, 6:06 pm

After shutting down for several months due to the pandemic, Flint Creek Cattle Co. is back and better than ever.

Chef Eric Donnelly has updated the menu to reflect some of the local and responsible cattle raising around Washington.

All meats served come from small-scale farms and ranches that produce responsibly raised, pastured, grass-fed animals without added hormones and antibiotics.

Start your meal with a warm duck confit salad, crisp pickled vegetables, or a Sea Wolf Bakery sourdough baguette.

Next, we suggest a few small plates to share before digging into the mains. The Anderson Ranch lamb tartare is delicious, as are the Totten Kamilche Mussels, and grilled baby eggplant.

While you can’t go wrong with any of the mains, their hangar steak, bone-in pork chop, and braised wild boar shoulder are some of our favorites.
