Sep 25 2020, 9:49 pm

Take a day trip to Morocco at Itto’s Tapas in West Seattle.

The restaurant, styled after Morocco, serves up versatile small plates (tapas) hailing from Morocco and Spain.

Regardless of dietary restriction, all your friends will find something to share as Itto has tapas with meat, seafood, vegetarian, and vegan options.

The best way to eat at Itto’s is to order a bunch of plates from all different categories.

If you’re into vegetables, we suggest spiced olives, a Moroccan spiced potato cake (maakooda), eggplant-tomato spread on a baguette (zaalook), spicy harissa vegetable, cumin beet salad, or the khoudra burger with house-made garbanzo and kune bean fritter, tomato, cabbage, onion, and garlic-cilantro aioli.

Those looking to fill their bellies with seafood can opt for the scallops, Spanish paella, moorish boquerones, charmoula prawn, or squid steak.

Finally, order a few meat dishes. We love the lamb brochette, moroccan meatball, chicken bastilla, and beef tenderloin.
