What to eat in and around Seattle today: Sip and Smile

Sep 23 2020, 2:34 pm

Renton’s newest coffee spot, Sip and Smile, will have you smiling and sipping in no time.

Over 30 years ago, a woman named Cindy began making coffee in Vietnam with an individual filter dispenser, hot water, and condensed milk. Her coffee tasted so good that word quickly spread, and she was soon famous in town for both her drinks and her constant smiles.

Now a grandmother and unable to leave the house due to the pandemic, she decided to get back into coffee making. Partnering with her son-in-law (as well as Chef Kim and T.Tran), she’s once again ready to bring her drinks and smiles to the public.

Sip and Smile currently small, yet perfect menu. All medium-sized drinks go for $5, while large drinks go for $6.
