Depending on when you go, you’ll find cheap specials with a lot of taste. From chicken wing sandwiches to large racks of slow-smoked ribs, everything at Sweet Street is tantalizing.

Best of all is the Sweet Street signature wings. The menu says you may only get a few; these are full-sized wings, not dinky pub fare. Get them in a sandwich or on their own. Unlike Red Bull, these wings will actually make you feel like you can fly.
This place also makes some of the best collard greens and sweet potato pies one can find in Portland.
