What to eat in Portland today: Ingrid's Good Street Food

Jul 6 2020, 10:10 pm

One of Vancouver, Washington’s premier street food and paleo spots, Ingrid’s Good Street Food is serving up delicious, carefully curated for those who love a health-conscious meal.

Street food is an exceptional offshoot of the wonderful world of gastronomy. As eateries-on-wheels continue to evolve, chefs of all ages, backgrounds, and influences offer endlessly unique food experiences.

The Portland metro area has long been a champion of the tiny kitchen, and for that, we’re provided an even larger, and flourishing, food scene. One thing that street food often serves up is comfort food and strong flavors.

However, the focus on healthy options is generally left off the menu. This is why places like Ingrid’s Good Street Food stick out amongst the stellar selection of both brick-and-mortar shops and food trucks alike.

Ingrid’s has both. Their brightly colored trucks are a sight for sore eyes, but they also have an adorable location just a short drive North, in Vancouver, Washington.

What to order

From bowls to wraps, salads to a budget menu, Ingrid’s is filled with amazing options, no matter the flavor world you want to immerse yourself within.

One of our favorites is the Moroccan Couscous bowl that you can order with either Chicken of Falafel (and you should definitely try the Falafel). A very close second is their astounding bulgogi beef salad.
