Portland's Cider Summit celebrates 10 years with to-go tasting kits

The Cider Summit has announced that they will be celebrating what would have been their 10th year of the festival by providing cider lovers with to-go tasting kits.

Many of our favorite annual outings have been canceled while companies and event organizers adapt to a new world. Luckily for the cider aficionados in the Oregon area, the Cider Summit wasn’t going to let their landmark anniversary go by without doing something to celebrate.

“We didn’t want our 10-year milestone to pass by unnoticed,” explained Alan Shapiro, Cider Summit founder and producer. “Creating a tasting kit was a way to stay engaged with our attendees during the pandemic. The cideries we selected for this package are all long-term partners of the festival, with some dating back to year one.”

They may be unable to host an actual festival, but bringing the Cider Summit to your home is one way to make the best out of a difficult situation.

Ciders included in the Cider Summit Tasting Kit include 2 Towns Ciderhouse, Alter Ego, Anthem Cider, Avid Cider Co., Portland Cider Co., and many more.

To snag one of these epic kits, place your order prior to 2 pm on June 16. A drive-thru pick-up location will begin fulfilling cider to-go kit orders on June 20. Walk-ups and bicycle pick-ups will also be permitted.
