The majority of the Turcot Interchange’s work is expected to be finished by the spring, according to Transport Quebec. And to say it’s been a lasting headache for Montreal drivers would be an understatement.
Given construction and deconstruction has been going on since 2004, the Turcot administration shared a video of the last pillar getting demolished, and let’s just say, it’s very satisfying.

With the last bit of the old Turcot now demolished, officials will focus on constructing the new Highway 15 south and Route 136 west, which is slated to be completed by the end of 2019.
Drivers should take note of several road closures due to take part during the upcoming long weekend, until Tuesday morning at 5 am.
