Quebec reports under 65 coronavirus cases, two new deaths

There are 62 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours along with two COVD-19-related deaths.

According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has also increased to 5,746.

There are now 61,803 cases in the province, 118 hospitalizations, and 12 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,001,243 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 54,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Monday, August 24, at 6 pm.

Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.

Canada’s coronavirus death toll now totals 9,084.
