Downtown Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles has made it mighty enticing to get into the outdoor holiday spirit.
An outdoor winter garden, Christmas village, and Luminothérapie’s illuminated loops have been set up within blocks of each other.
The outdoor sights and sounds have been set up to entice Montrealers to travel downtown and stimulate local shopping and eating.

Located between the Complexe Desjardins and Place des Arts, the 24-hour garden features giant art installations and the illuminated loops consist of a series of luminous, music-playing, interactive art pieces.
Both sites are free to attend and are following all of public health’s necessary COVID-19 protocols.
The winter garden will be in place until January 3 and Luminothérapie’s loops will stay lit up through to March 14. Until then, here’s how the Quartier des Spectacles looks through the world of Instagram.
