An outdoor winter garden has been set up at the Quartier des spectacles, offering Montrealers a pop-up Christmas village to explore between shopping and food pickups.

Located between the Complexe Desjardins and Place des Arts, the 24-hour gardens feature giant art installations aimed at drawing Montrealers towards downtown shops, stores, and restaurants.

Visitors can see a collection of Christmas scenes in windows, a small maze, and plenty of festive cheer to flood Instagram.

According to the Quartier des spectacles website, the winter garden is “like a love letter offered by Montreal’s Christmas Village team to all Montrealers.” The village aims to “invite discovery in a magical and luminous fairy-tale journey.”

The village, which is free to attend, will keep shining every day from now until January 3, 2021.

Coupled with the quarter’s illuminated loops, the Quartier des spectacles is offering plenty of outdoor sights and sounds to entice Montrealers to travel downtown and stimulate local shopping and eating.
