Monster Spectacular

Titled Monster Spectacular, 2018 marks the 30th edition of this exciting monster truck event. Suitable for parents and children, Monster Spectacular promises to deliver an action-packed show full of incredible stunts. Some of the best and biggest monster trucks will be making an appearance including the Red Baron and the Bounty Hunter. In addition to trucks, the event will also feature freestyle motocross, a speed bike stunt show, and ATV races.

Salon Aventure et Plein Air 2018

On April 7 and 8, Palais des Congres will be taken over by The Outdoor Adventure Show. The exhibition boasts Quebec’s largest collection of outdoor gear and adventure travel experiences.

Fantastic Mr. Fox at Cinema du Parc for kids

Cinema du Parc is screening Fantastic Mr. Fox this Saturday. This Wes Anderson directed film is perfect for the whole family.

Visit Montreal’s free museum

Montreal is filled with amazing museums but there is one you can visit for free anytime. The Redpath Museum is located in downtown Montreal on the McGill University campus and you can visit it anytime at no cost. The museum features exhibits focusing on natural history, biology, geology, and cultural heritage. Completed in 1882, Redpath Museum is the oldest building in Canada built as a museum.

Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art Leonard Cohen Exhibit

Montreal’s Museum of Contemporary Art is hosting an ongoing immersive exhibition to honour the legendary Leonard Cohen.

“A Crack in Everything,” is a multidisciplinary exhibit will showcase works of art by local and international artists who were inspired by Cohen.

Montreal Botanical Garden Butterflies Go Free

The Montreal Botanical Garden’s annual “Butterflies Go Free” exhibit is back for another year. Taking over the Main Exhibition Greenhouse from February 22 until April 29, visitors can step into a humid tropical oasis that will make you forget all about winter.

Montreal Digital Spring

Quartier des Spectacles is hosting a unique digital art festival all season long. Visit a Sugar Shack

Although the bustling urban city of Montreal is not home to any sugar shacks, you won’t have to travel far to get an authentic Quebec experience. Whether you love the horse-drawn carriage rides or the plethora of maple treats, there are plenty of reasons to visit a sugar shack this winter. Open now to April, some of the best (and closest) sugar shacks to Montreal include Sucrerie de la Montagne, Cabane à Sucre Au Pied Cochon, and Cabane à Sucre Bouvrette.
