The trailer for Netflix’s new film Pieces of a Woman has dropped and eagle-eye movie fans should be able to spot plenty of Montreal landmarks.

The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Vanessa Kirby, and Ellen Burstyn, and follows a grieving woman who embarks on an emotional journey after the loss of her baby.

The film was directed by award-winner Kornél Mundruczó (White God) and Martin Scorsese serves as the film’s executive producer.

According to the film’s IMDB page, principal photography was shot in December 2019.

Check out the trailer below and see how many different Montreal spots you recognize.

The film is scheduled for release in select theatres on December 30, 2020 and will stream on Netflix globally on January 7, 2021.

Pieces of a Woman was nominated for the Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival.

We’re wondering if Shia changed his name from TheBeef to LaBeouf after filming Pieces of a Woman in the French city.
